MichaelYJ did your 2nd dose get you to sleep? Do you eat your dinner hours before you go to bed?

Just curious if your stomach is full, you will have slow absorption. If your last meal was finished hours before you went to bed and you take your 1st dose you may have faster absorption and less time to fall asleep.

And of course the anxiety does play a role in our sleep efforts.

In recent years it hasn't been consistent. As I write this it's 3:20 am. I took my first 4.5 dose at 12:15 and I was a little drowsy for a while but never went to sleep. Now that could be because I've been a little stressed tonight. But it seems like it's not working as well as it used to. I'm going to take my 2nd dose now and then I'll probably be able to sleep.

Does it actually put you to sleep when you take it? I feel like I’m still up for awhile and then once I do fall asleep it’s more maybe an hour and I’m on the max dose

Yes, I took Xyrem for about 20 years and have been on Xywav for 2 years now.

Are you currently on it? I recently started it and am looking for peer support I think I’m having some symptoms related to it
