I'm not a mouth breather so this taping would not allow me to discontinue cpap therapy. I think I may be the only person who has never had any issue using cpap. The only time I've ever not used it was when I went on vacation and left it packed in my bag that I forgot at home. That was the most miserable vacation ever.
Look up mouth taping on YouTube. Lots of us are getting off those horrible CPAP machines. Easy to do and the tape is very inexpensive and easy to get at any pharmacy. Forces you to breathe through your nose which makes if possible for you to really breathe . I no longer wake up in the night because I've stopped breathing and also no longer have the morning headaches or that super dry mouth. Takes a little adjustment to breathing only through your nose but well worth it. I'm even able to do it will a deviated septum.
What's Mouth Tapping and how does it relate to CPAP Machines? I used to wear a CPAP before being diagnosed with Narcolepsy/Cataplexy. And when I would wear it at night; I felt like I was suffocating
Thanks for this. Will look into it.
