The coldness makes my body very hard to do anything, when it is cold my symptoms get worse and my body just wants to shut down.

I get super hot in the night, 10 years ago my wife found the Chilipad - has changed my sleep forever - I set it to 68 degrees and never wake up from being so hot, since I’m waking up dreaming all night I go right back to sleep

Sorry JohnBlues , I disagree with you. I have went months only eating once or twice a day very small, even healthy meals to avoid becoming a narcoleptic zombie, I also get plenty of steps in daily working at a large hospital and coming home to 4 children but even with a lot of exercise, eating small meals and healthy , being on my medication, I still have narcolepsy symptoms daily. I can constantly feel my narcolepsy lurking, it creeps up on me quickly several times a day no matter what. As the doctors say everybody has narcolepsy differently, so maybe you just have a mild case if this is true for you because I’ve tried everything to make my symptoms go away. Nothing works .

It depends how cold, I sleep better in a cool environment, but also tend to get Raynaud's more often so my extremities always feel frozen. So during winter I go to the sauna often and this tends to improve my sleep as well as circulation making me feel better.
