One thing that helps me is keeping to a sleep schedule. Go to bed and get up at the same times. I also find that eating small meals throughout the day is so much better than eating 3 larger ones. Some people say intermittent fasting helps as well but I haven't tried that.

I agree about smaller meals, especially if you have any difficulty with acid reflux . If you do have acid reflux or sinus drainage you can also raise the head of your bed by 5 or so inches. I also recommend lowering indoor lighting about 2 hours before bedtime& using amber tones during evening time (for all people). Manage any pain you might have that might keep you up or wake you up and breathing for real brain-based relaxation, that is- Inhale for 3 seconds, Exhale for 8-10 seconds (a minimum of 3-5 times or repetitions. I’ll send out more precise info later today for all. I hope that helps some. Glad you are with us on the Sleeping Ship or is it a Sleepy Ship. 😴
