Ever Heard Of Reading-induced Narcolepsy?
A MyNarcolepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I pretty much can’t read more than 2-3 pages of a novel without dozing off. Makes life quite weird at work when I have to read film scripts. Watching TV/ films is also pretty bad. Don’t know when I watched a whole movie/ even in the cinema.

What is helpful is when I want to nap… all I need to do is read for a few minutes.

I am the same way. Haven't been to a theater since diagnosed. When I watch movies at home, I stand bc if I sit down, I go to sleep. Yet I also have insomnia. Sometimes I'm up for 48 hours.

Sounds like we're the same, although I'm never up for that long. I have no problem falling asleep at night if I can read a bit, but I tend to wake up a lot in the night. When I wake up in the middle of the night I really struggle to get back to sleep if I don't have my kindle.
