Wakix?
A MyNarcolepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone been able to get on Wakix? My doctor has spent hours and hours per patient attempting to get them on Wakix with no success! What is the deal?

There’s now a non generic Xyrem, fyi. I pay only $30/month copay for it. I just started it two days ago. I have high hopes for being able to drive more than 20 minutes once I’m up to full dose.

Yes i was able to get it authorized since the previous meds didnt work. It works but it definitely took 4 to 6 weeks to really feel the difference. Its been almost a year now and i actually had to decrease my dose due to increased anxiety

I am taking Wakix as a free trial. It's not a narcotic, but it gives you a lot of energy. There are a lot side effects like coughing, congestion, lost of appetite, vivid scary dreams. These are the ones I am experiencing, but there are lots more.

Hoping things have gotten better and you can stay awake longer for driving.
