My doctor will appeal it, but how can the insurance company decide that I magically no longer need this medication???
Every year a insurance company can and most likely will drop prior authorization and you start over. I always make sure every year my insurance pays for everything the next... everyone needs to know. If you insurance is paying for a med..they will have to continue
I'm so sorry! I've been following the Xyrem class action lawsuit. Maybe it has something to do with that?
I haven't figured that question out yet , you would think after reviewing your years of using a certain drug that they would say something like wow she needs that , but I guess not .
@A MyNarcolepsyTeam Member definitely a direct quote LOL
Brett is right! Recently, I had surgery to repair my hip replacement. My insurance decided that it was voluntary plastic surgery so wouldn't pay. and sometimes it seems that insurance companies can say if you live or die. And they care nothing about your quality of life. Keep the faith and fight back!
