I can totally relate to that feeling. My days of feeling good and having energy to get things done are few and far between so when I do feel energized I would overdo it and then pay for it for days after. Now when I feel good I just enjoy the feeling and do about half what I think I can

Totally good days are very rare for me...like once a year. My problem is it always happens when people around me poop out early. I was on vacation 3 years ago at Myrtle Beach. Woke up one day feeling very refreshed. By 6:30, 7 pm i still felt good so wanted to go out for fun. We had dinner at 5:30 and after everyone got their bellies full they were done for the evening. I was so upset because there i sat feeling good and actually had energy and didn't get to go anywhere or do anything. What a waste. I about cried because I knew it would be such a long time before I ever felt that way again.

Anyway I normally overdue things if I feel good. I try to get everything done ive not been able to do due to EDS in one day then pay for it the next day.

Nice to meet you. Let's see I have 2 girls 25 and 31. I'm divorced. I am 59. Live in Girard Ohio. Grew up in Hubbard Ohio pretty much all my life till last year. I have 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Parents are in heaven. Mom died of Colon cancer in 1975 and dad of leukemia in 2003. I'm happy and thankful for many things. I have one granddaughter Lily she is a year and A half. Had Narcolepsy since I was ayoung girl. Now your turn then I will continue.

I would have to say that my best days with narcolepsy is always when I am with my niece and nephews, on a weekend and just hanging out at home. They keep me busy, but they also nap so I can nap with them.

One of my best days was yesterday. I got up at about 6:30 am. I got 10 boxes downstairs to move my art activities downstairs for more room, got my daughter's room about half done (really messy), and I was awake ALL day with little falling asleep at all for 12 hours on 1 large Noz. I felt good getting things done for once in a long while.
